About Laurie Gabriel

Laurie has been teaching music in public schools since 1984. Conducting orchestras requires finding ways for people of varying backgrounds to come together to create something beautiful. This has fueled Laurie's passion for helping people find ways to live in harmony. Laurie holds a certificate in Mediation and Conflict Resolution and is an accomplished speaker and Ted Talk alum. She has won awards for her keynote addresses on compassion and is a certified John Maxwell Coach and member of the National Speakers Association. Laurie is the author of Eyes of Wonder: How to Recapture Your Childlike Spirit, and she has published many resources for teachers.​
